This is the video I mentioned in Part 4 above about a young lady called Nicole who had been kidnapped and raped and was eventually told that her trauma was so severe that she might have never recovered. 

She had become addicted to alcohol and drugs and looked to hasten her death. That was until she met Dr Bill Petit who helped her recover her mental wellbeing.
